Tryp Leiria Hotel

We spent 9 nights here while finding our feet when we first moved to Portugal and it was an absolute delight. We booked through a third party site that messed up our booking, and the reception team helped us sort it out in a matter of minutes with no hesitation. They were welcoming to our cats and gave really good food recommendations in the area. Room was spotless and the cleaning staff super friendly to us and our cats. The breakfast spread was so so good, variety, quality, and once again the staff just made it even more enjoyable. Everything you need is in walking distance. The only “issue” we had was that we had no control over the AC in our room, it’s a central system, but honestly everything else made that seem insignificant. Thank you for our warm welcome to Portugal. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel! Modern and clean rooms with tea and coffee making facilities, confortable beds, good bathroom, good breakfast and friendly staff with good command of English. Location is also fine if you travel by car, as it is close to the highway access. However, this is also the reason it might be noisy at night, if you leave the window open. Would definitely come here again when in Leiria.

My wife and I loved our stay at TRYP Leiria. It is very close to a beautiful park and trails along the river, and easy walking distance to the castle and city center. The rooms are modern, very comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfasts were great. The receptionist, Patricia, was very helpful with sightseeing advice and travel assistance. I highly recommend this hotel! I hope we can return someday!
